Lost Home

Lost Home enters the experience of dementia — the disorientation of knowing there is a way home, but no longer the path to it. The canvas becomes a maze: fragments of cardboard, newspaper, stray numbers and letters surface and submerge through washes of blue, encircled by the chaos and clamour the mind can no longer quiet. It is tender and unsettling in equal measure.

An original, one-of-a-kind work, signed by the artist.

Medium: Mixed-media collage on box canvas — found papers, acrylic, spray paint, acrylic pen, pastel and charcoal.
Dimensions: 30 × 20 in (depth 1.5 in).
