Flourish

Flourish is a hymn to the living Earth — the most beautiful of all the planets, caught here at the very height of its colour. Layer upon layer of oil, acrylic, spray paint, soft pastel and alcohol ink bloom across the canvas like a world in full celebration, each vivid passage standing for a life lived happily, healthily, and in abundance. Up close, gilded honeycomb forms and scattered symbols reward the patient eye; from across a room, the whole surface reads as pure jubilation.
